If you’ve already booked a vacation to Portugal this summer, you may get an email from Ryanair announcing that hundreds of flights have been canceled. The airline’s CEO says the decision would delay Lisbon’s post-Covid recovery. Routes to and from Lisbon are at danger in the coming months.
Earlier this week, on March 8, the low-cost carrier issued a statement announcing the cancellation of 19 flights for the summer of 2022 owing to “continuous obstruction of landing slots” by Portuguese airline TAP.
