While it might not be as widely known as Lisbon and Porto, or even the ancient University city of Coimbra, there is something undeniably enchanting about the small Portuguese Medieval city of Viseu. Nestled between mountain ranges, Viseu lies within Portugal’s beautiful Beira region, which many consider being the most quintessential part of the country.
