Daniel and I have long thought what our Dream Bathroom would look like before we thought about self-building it. To us, a Dream bathroom must have 2 showers, fantastic tiles that gives a spa feeling and a stunning glass wall just as you see in TV shows like The Block Australia.
This week, we are installing our Dream Shower tray, leveling the floor, installing a drain and weβre also tiling the shower. This Self-Building our Dream Bathroom (Shower) video is only the part 1 of a series where weβll take you step by step though the process weβve used to create our Dream Bathroom. Since we are currently showering outside getting our dream indoor shower ready is a top priority. Weβre now in mid-September, and washing out self in our outdoor shower is getting frisky.
32 weeks ago, we bought an abandoned farm in Tras-os-montes, North Portugal, and we’re building our dream house with a public garden, an ice cream kiosk, and our dream house, optimized toward minimalist yet comfortable living.

I love them.( it is such a hard thing choosing the right tile and keeping within the budget) I think that the bathroom will look stunning, with the black shower tray and the black towel rail etc. I love the grey colour you have chosen for the walls. When all your home comforts are complete, you can fix internet access. Being able to go to town for internet is a bummer, but a warm shower, cooking inside your home and just sitting comfortably inside with your pets is a bigger accomplishment in my book. You guys are doing so well. Itβs looking so beautiful.that bathroom tile is a WOW for me!

I know exactly the wet area sealer that you needed. All of our bathrooms here in Australia have to have complete seals in the shower area.

Good morning Dan and Sindy. Had to wait until you got the green tiles installed in the bathroom to be able to tell how they would look. But with the white tiles next to it, it looks great. Thanks for the paint roller tip, learned something I didn't know. And the tile cutter was good to know about the measurement of the size of tile. Your work is moving along and can tell the excitement with each project that is finished. Sorry about the internet problem. That has to drive you crazy. Mason is a mama's boy, like the way he listens to you. He watches your every move. Smart boy.
Hi there Sindy and Dan, I just love those green tiles and particularly how you have chosen to put them in long ways instead of the sideways metro look. It's such a shame about your internet reception and it does bring back memories for us as for years we had to make do with our signal coming from a water tower. This was before fibre optics came into being in our commune. Hopefully, you can find a solution to the problem. I'm sure by now you are enjoying hot showers in your lovely new bathroom xxx π§ππ½
