The most famous church in Sifnos is Chrisopigi,breathtaking view and nearby great little taverns. Gabriel i saw my btother's summer house as you were walking up to Castro village,we have so many great summer memories in Sifnos.
The first famous great Greek chef Tselementes was ftom Sifnos,they cook in ceramic sealed pots in stonemade ovens all night long. Exceptional quality food.

I'm curious to know if you're doing carry on only, what size of backpack you're using, style (top load or traditional side load) and if you're doing the 2 piece (i.e. big backpack in the back and smaller pack hanging in the front – I think i've seen you do this).

On the other side of the church of Agios Andreas is a lovely little museum and a parking lot. You can drive up 🙂 Sifnos was known as the island of gold – very rich and they had their own Treasury in Delphi to honour the God Apollo. It might not look like much but it is an important archaeological site.
