Hello guys, we just thought we would share some of the places where we stayed on our journey to buying our farm in Portugal. We travelled around many areas of the central districts from a beautiful lodge at the base of the Serra da Gardunha mountains to an apartment overlooking the Royal palace in Sintra, a tiny apartment in the old city of Coimbra and a hotel in the centre of Lisbon. We wanted to experience as much of each area as possible to be sure we had made the right choice to buy in Coimbra. Nearly all of the accomodation was stunning and the hosts magnicent and friendly, stunning breakfasts and the comfiest beds we are missing. Coimbra city is a magical place and in just ten minutes drive you can be lost in the wilderness.
Portugal is magical.
