Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. From imposing São Jorge Castle, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel-colored buildings, Tagus Estuary and Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. Just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.

those black people at the square are not just sitting around, they are dealers in different small businessses I was in Lisbon 1-2 yrs before corona virus pandemic
The Spanish were the first to get to Brazil but unable to colonize it because of their approach ; however, the Portuguese were able to colonize Brazil because they were more diplomatic than the Spanish.
Christianity was already in Africa before the Portuguese came;(Ethiopia has one of the oldest churches in the world). In other words, Africans were already Christians before Christianity went to Europe.

Hi Marwa! I recommend taking online short courses on European history within the last 500 years and another on East Africa (religion and Arab slave trade). YouTube is also a good resource.
Tour guy is boring
Now a lot of white Americans from the state of California today ,and the Portuguese are currently protesting their arrival because they say the gentrification of whites take over is driving the cost of living up in the country. As Malcolm x said the chickens come home to roost. WHAT GOES AROUND SURE COMES AROUND
It's the Portuguese that started the slave trade. They taught the Europeans about it. Yes you are exactly right
Europeans were enslaved just as everyone else was "In The Past"!!!. They let that go and moved on. If you know someone who is a slave in 2022 please alert the authority's.
No one knows if Portugal have 1Million black people. If the guy from Togo (who doesnt know so much as he try to show) tell it, is something he cant tell!!! Not even the govern knows. We never did census or something requesting Race or Color of skin. And i m pretty sure the scale isnt 1 per 10, but i cant tell is a lie too…
A Togo guy that does a tour about Portuguese slavery while he is s country was never colonised by the Portuguese.
That's interesting.
Who is it to tell Portuguese slavery? 🤔
Just making money, that's all.
Christianity came from Ethiopia 🇪🇹
Portugal 🇵🇹 sent the Black Jews & Moors to Brazil 🇧🇷. Brazil 🇧🇷 received the largest number of slaves … then the Caribbean’s was next. America 🇺🇸 only received less than 5% because there were already black people there.
Portugal 🇵🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸 expelled the Black Jews & Moors.
In 1492 “ African Americans” ( Hebrews) were expelled from Spain 🇪🇸 & Portugal 🇵🇹 by John 11, Queen Isabella & King Fernand. They were sent to the island 🏝 of St Thomas and West Africa ( Togo 🇹🇬 & Benin 🇧🇯) If you look on an old African Map you will see an area called NegroLand ie Tribe of Judah. They weren’t paying taxes to Spain and they were marrying to many of the Native African Women and this upset the Pope – so he issued an edict to recapture them. The edict stated if the Natives help them recapture the Hebrews and place them on the ships they would receive 50% of their possessions. After they were recaptured they were sent to the New World ( America 🇺🇸) .
Nice video
With you,all through bro
Tartarian buildings. To tell u the truth I'm not impressed with Portugal.
I Love you I Am Marwa!
Nothing to say just Wow and thanks For the cool video WOW
i like how you spot some nice girls!!!
Enjoy your stay bro and bring us more stuff from Europe
Big love from South Sudan 🇸🇸
At 15:19… You saying that you were giving us a perspective of Lisbon, Spain…..WHAT?!?!?!?! You are in Portugal dude!!!!
History can be mutilated to suit a certain narrative. Do more research based on primary sources rather than secondary. Otherwise, thumbs up for the good video.
lol, the only reason you are saying Lisbon looks like cuba is because of the mixed or the mulatos! Cuba doesn't have so many high buildings… the city itself has nothing to do with Cuba
Thanks for the video Marrwa. Please put Toronto on your city to visit. When you come to Toronto make it the summer time July August. Lots to see and do.
Portugal looks older than my grandma. Lol. Where are the modern buildings?
Very educative video
Who are the people living behind all these large glass windows ?
16:05 The Mural shows after 1492, because that is when the last stronghold of the Moor Empire in Al Andalus/Andalusia (Spain today) fell to King Ferdinand… Those who we call Black, Berbers, Arab, etc. today are descended from Moors/Mauros/Moros then (see The Moorish Empire in Europe by S.P. Scott) … For Portugal, see The "Moors" of West Africa and the Beginnings of
the Portuguese Slave Trade by Kenneth Baxter Wolf
