A look at our very basic Solar back up power set up.

We did end up using it when we tripped main power and discovered our main house fuse was old and faulty.

Big thumbs up to EDP Portugal who replaced the fuse within 2 hours once we had got through to the faults department, Portuguese 800 number that must ring from a Portuguese phone.

They also upgraded our supply and fitted a smart meter.

We plan to fit Solar set up in the future to power devices in the house
