Soller and Port de Soller Travel Guide, Mallorca (Majorca), Spain

If you are visiting Soller and Port de Soller, know what to expect from your day trip or holiday in this Soller and Port de Soller travel guide, Mallorca (Majorca), Spain for 2022.

If you are visiting one town, it’s quite likely you’ll visit the other so in this Mallorca travel guide, I provide the information you need to visit either or both in one day, and give you an idea of how to get there, what to see and what to expect from your journey..

I will highlight how to arrive in Soller whether you chose to arrive on the Ferrocaril from Palma or by the public TIB bus.

In Soller I visit the Sant Bartomeu church in the town square and how much it is to eat out in Plaza Constitucion Sóller.

I also visit the commercial centre in Soller and check in on a couple of really lovely art galleries.

Find out too about taking the wooden tram to Port de Soller, how much it costs and where and how often it departs

My next stop in this video is Port de Soller. I´ll show you where you arrive in the Port.

We’ll take a walk around some of the best places to eat, and then walk along the promenade to check out the beaches including the Port beach, Soller beach and Repic beach.

And I’ll show you a Port de Sóller sunset and why this is one of the best places to enjoy a sunset in Mallorca.

  1. Thanks for the lovely video. I’ve been visiting Soller and the port since 2007, usually 3 or 4 times a year apart from the Covid years of course. I made it back last September and I am booked for late August this year. It’s my favourite place in the whole world and I have made many friends there during my visits. Your film took me right back and I can’t wait for August to come. Thank you. Simon.

  2. Was in Port Soller last week , loved it although very quiet at night , Nunu my favourite restaurant .. Soller and Fornalutx both worth a visit

  3. Wow Alex. I loved this video. Thank you. Also what a lovely sunny day. You are very good giving us so much information. I also like it when you focus in on prices and foods at restaurants. Good to be aware that some shops are closed at 2 and open later. I did some research on the Soller tram which opened in 1913. Then I did a search Mallorca + 1920s and found a wonderful German silent black and white film. Some of your subscribers may like to see it. It shows a very different Palma, an old ship, old cars, very empty mountain roads and even a tram and Port de Soller. Life was so different then. The film is called A Pearl of the Mediterranean or Eine Perle des Mittelmeers. 🧡

  4. Hi, I’m loving your content. Thanks for making 😊
The current covid restrictions are in place until 15th June when travelling from UK. Do you know when the updates are normally announced?

  5. Really lovely visit to Soller and Port De Soller. Absolutely love both places with their lovely wooden train and wooden tram with spectacular views. Oh I would so love to be dining in one of those Port de Soller restaurants watching the sunset or soaking up the afternoon sun ☀️
