Spain update – It makes no sense

Spain update and with Spain now able to chase down speeding fines in the UK but British drivers are still not able to swap their licence over yet, I am having trouble understanding why this is?

  1. Hi Stu

We're visiting Spain now from the USA, and still watch you. Your very informative about this different and interesting country. Cheer up, go have a vermouth, beer or beverage of your choice. Stay the course and don't change your channel.

  2. Hello Stuart, I do understand your frustration and why you feel fed-up with the politicians and the way this country functions, I feel the same. There are many good things about Spain, but the bureaucracy is slow and backward, and the politicians have no idea. You have been doing a great job, I don’t know how you do it. But, you have got to do what you enjoy doing and if you feel you would be happier moving on to a different subject that would be fine by me. You will do a great job whatever you do. Thanks.

  3. A change of narrative sounds great mate. Sometimes we need to step away from Politics/war and the things we can't control. Also think it will be a huge benefit to your channel and make your content more positive.

  4. You are more than welcome to join Granada Club De Cricket , we have a great team and currently building our ground, we have the best multicultural, multiracial diverse team, banter is great!

  5. Don't let the issues in Spain get you so down…..nowhere is perfect and the whole world is experiencing challenges, scandals etc. etc. Things globally are on a knifes edge with war & recessions on the horizon. Enjoy the tapas and great weather!!

  6. The Spanish seemed to not only fall for the scamdemic dystopian bs from day one, but I dare say they embraced and welcomed it. For that reason, no f***s given I'm afraid. You're reaping what you sowed.

  7. Must say Stu that while the political 5h!t is irksome, its part of life. You've got the channel to a great point, and built up a solid base of viewers, would tweaking the format really work? Perhaps try something in parallel before hand?

  8. I like your updates and honest opinions. I wouldn't follow a tapas trail channel. Living here I follow politics and I like to hear your input. There is a general down turn everywhere just now the war and of course Covid. Keep yiur chin up.

  9. I spoke to a couple in Mazarron the other day. They are not residents and they own a villa here in Spain. In December they arrived in Santander in a van, full of their furniture to take to their villa. The customs told them they estimated the value of their furniture at abiut 850 euros so they had to pay about 350 euros to bring it into Spain. If they didnt pay they were told they had to go back to England. They observed another distressed man having to pay 900 euros to bring his piano into Spain. This seems a bit harsh. Just to keep everyone aware…

  10. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but politics is pretty much screwed up every where ,especially Australia. My God, the thought of Scummo (Scott Morrison aka Scotty from Marketing) getting reelected for another 3 years would be a total disaster. If that were to happen, i will pack my bags immediately and move back to Spain.
You don't have to put a total stop to your news videos, just do less of them and do more of your driving videos for example. You have many followers and we all support you through thick and thin. Keep up the good work.

  11. Hi Stu, I've been watching your videos for ages. I live in the uk and my dad was retired in Spain. I enjoy hearing bits of news about Spain to feel like I'm keeping a bit of a finger on the pulse of what's going on over there. One thing I notice is that politics is not that much different than over here in the UK. Governments are always criticised. There are always scandals. These are tough times for many. Maybe you can just mix it up a bit and choose more lighthearted news from time to time. My dad passed away in February. He had a Spanish will. It has been quite a steep learning curve the way a will is settled in UK compared to how it is settled in Spain. I have been impressed with how efficient the Notarios are and how easy it is to get an appointment and speak to them. I have not had that experience in the UK. Cheer up Stu. We really enjoy your videos and love hearing snipets of news about Spain.
