I vote for self sufficiency in marijuana. Legalised clubs, tax it, keep the economy going. Not necessarily illegal either, if for own consumption and no more than 2 plants.

You mentioned YouTube "Spain on a Fork" channel. Yes, It's pretty good. I followed it prior to my move to Spain and I love the dishes. Only complaint is that they're all pretty similar. 30ml olive oil and add onion, garlic, bit of tomato sauce, paprika, then add (rice/beans) and broth. often saffron. However, each dish is a bit unique, healthy and I've managed to loose 4 inches around my waist since moving here and cooking these dishes. Don't have much alternative to cooking here in my small village, so I win. When I do eat out it's usually seafood. Live in tourist village, so we just went from 4 cafe's to a couple dozen for spring break. Woohoo.

Sometimes I wonder if journalists can even read. The CANNABIS plants (No marijuana) found in Navarra were those that many companies utilize for industrial purposes, basically to get the CBD. They have a percentage of THC of almost =0. Marijuana is the Cannabis plant whose flowers have a high percentage of THC! . THC is the substance that gives the narcotic effects, not the CBD. . We are talking about a minimum of 8 or 10% of THC to be considered narcotic…

You can also enrol to the official school of languages, La Escuela Oficial de Idiomas, like I did and it almost costs nothing to get language lessons in many languages!
You also meet. many people. I enjoyed it went 2 hours every morning theres homework and exams. I went to the Alicante one it was €60 a term. Another way to learn. You really need to speak Spanish if you live here not live in isolated all Brit estates like many do and not speak much Spanish and watch UK Tv just holidaying in Benidorm !
