  1. Where is the video about the Vox party organising a silent collective protest to switch off electricity together for a blackout and surge? I saw you cover it but can’t find that one. Much appreciated.

  2. I took my sister to a restaurant here in Galicia for lunch, where we both got the menú del día, sparkling waters and cafés, and I even had a lovely glass of Albariño. The ticket for the whole meal was a whopping 25€. She couldn’t believe it, coming from California!

  3. Hi, Stu, Have just listened to your update of yesterday, Thursday. We arrived in Spain yesterday on the Santander ferry. Rained almost all the way across northern Spain to our first stop south of Pamplona, torrential rain a lot of the time.
We filled up with sin plomo 95 this morning April 1st and got the benefit of the reduction. It was 1.787 a litre. It cost 57.58 but with the discount was 51.14. The guy at the gasolinera was keen to point it out on the receipt – 6.44 saving. This was at Sos del Rey Catolico.
Freezing cold in Sos with snow showers. We drove south to Daroca north of Teruel and temperature went down to 1.5. Snow showers in Daroca too but not enough to lie and sunny most of the time but absolutely freezing.
We had a menu del dia at a very nice hotel. 15€ each but excellent quality, everything included with a full bottle of vino and bottle of spring water. We usually look for where the truckers stop and are never disappointed.
Your comments on the vaccination situation coming from the UK are correct.
Best wishes and looking forward to your next bulletin

  4. Menu del dia is a great concept. I’ve had many good meals with this concept. Creative and tasty. Reasonable price. Much better than so-called “fast food” yet usually fairly rapid. Spain wins at this every time.

  5. Hi Stu, you touched on daylight saving. Seems neither summer or winter time suits. Maybe the answer is to shift half an hour and stay with that all year?

  6. Hi Stu, I enjoy your videos so much. I discovered your videos very recently, when I was in hospital recovering from a laparoscopic appendectomy. However, I have not missed a single one in the past 2 months. Great work, Miguel Gascón from Derbyshire

  7. Very disappointed to hear Spain still wont relax travel from UK. We have accommodation, flights, airport parking and hire car, all booked for 22 April to go to Valencia. We have both had Covid twice, but as tested at home ,we have no official certification to prove it . I am sure we are just two of many thousands from UK with the same problem. . We both tune in every day and love the show Stewart Thankyou !

  8. Hi! This is one of the best videos I have seen today. Keep uploading such wonderful videos. I look forward to more of your videos my friend. Have a wonderful day. Stay connected. 😊

  9. Hi Stuart! How are you doing? I can't remember who said it but socialism only works until other peoples money runs out..Maybe Sanchez ought to start listening to people.

  10. the thing about gas prices in the U.S. is that we always paid far less that Europe and now we are much closer to the Euro prices, especially in California. So, the pain is relative, I guess.

  11. Diesel has been more expensive than petrol for years in the UK. Used to be the other way round. Years ago the word was get diesel its cheaper and more miles to the gallon. Another con.

  12. In times of crisis, the tendency is to vote for the right as they tend to represent stability and the hardline to "save" the situation. As a degree-holder in Political Science, it is something I have never understood as the right never protects workers. Just look at history!!!

  13. Have a friend un Madrid and I sent her via MRW what I call an "paquete del immigrante" which included milk, flour, pasta, salt, lentils, and other pulses. The irony of the story, my parcel was sent from Catalonia to Madrid!!! A good lesson towards understanding between Madrid & the outskirts of Barcelona (Terrassa)!!!

  14. Enjoying the show as usual. The Weather looks a lot better next week !!
Good to see you representing 2 great Aussie Surf companies..Rip Curl and Quiksilver….worked for both of them, long time,
Guessing you bought those hoodies in Peniche , their big surf shops there,, and also in Hossegor France.
kEEP UP THE HUNT FOR MILK !!

  15. No problem with the ethnic replacement of the indigenous Spanish. In a thousand years they might say whxte people used to live in Europe. This is the UN plan, it's called replacement migration and can be viewed in their public documents. Maybe Vox will offer some pushback, but I doubt it.
