  1. We have dragflation….if inflation is above interest rates than interest rates must be above inflation rates for any correction…But the Rich/Money men only want cheap money to buy up everything. And fuck the people.. straight from the good Old USA.,

  2. From a non EU country, I don’t understand the problem people have with the driving license ( other than it’s expense). The US drivers could benefit from such a strict test!

  3. I am going to make myself popular with this comment, but my belief is that there are too many young people who rely too much on their parents to get jobs etc.. Dime quien conoces y no quien eres, has been the rule in Spain for many years.

  4. In the Canarias, the uninployment figure is 23,2%. . Higher than anywhere else in Spain, apart from Ceuta with 26,6% The article I read blames the "Reforma Laboral 2022". It stated that it is hard to be an employer in Spain, and that the courts will always side with the employee, no matter what.

  5. One of the most beautiful places near Bilbao, right on the coast are the towns of La Arena and Pobena. From the bustle and the industry of the City, it's like another world. I stayed there overnight when walking the Camino del Norte…..stunning.

  6. Brexit happened and Spain chooses not to have an agreement with them it's something that the people have to come to understand many things are gonna continue to change. For example, coming I'm Canada, I needed to have new drivers license, no packages sent without going to customs and paying high customs fees, too much paperwork for buying a house ect., 5year residency was easy, the 10 year residency was so hard to receive, but received it and now a permanent resident.

  7. Ditching the clowns of the EU is an unusually smart move and unexpected. Now, is time to ditch NATO. Spain should learn from Turkey, and be a friendly country to Russia. Why create an enemy when there never was one.

  8. To answer the question about dialysis…Spainhave a wonderful system of reciprocal treatment. I’m getting-superb treatment here in Spain but if l want to go to Ireland for a holiday they will arrange it no problem.

  9. Slightly off driving licence but in Portugal even if you have every single piece of paperwork to obtain residence, the SEF (Immigration) are quoting crazy waiting times of over one year or eighteen months for application approval (apparently due to Covid)! Honestly, it is ridiculous, how can you survive financially, plus you are not allowed to leave Portugal in the meantime. OMG Portugal you are seriously going downhill…!

  10. It sounds to me like instead of people visiting and wanting to spend money, with your prior story about the highest unemployment in Europe essentially, they need to ask their own residents if they are solvent and able to reside in Spain. Kind of pot calling the kettle black as you say.

  11. I found 4-5 years that even offering a good salary plus commission on sales, we found it very hard to find people for 5 positions we had at the time, we organised a hotel to do all interviews on one day, and all but one of the interviews that were arrange no one turned up, when calling the people, they were more interested in going to the beach, we ended up recruiting expats who spoke spanish fluently

  12. Hi stu !
I wonder if the press articles you read are written by spanish journalists Who Can speak english or english speaking people living in Spain.
What do you think about It ?
I see you struggling reading them sometimes.

  13. I love Spain. I love Greece. But they are very different. If choosing between the two comes down to the price of drink, then people should save their travel costs and go to their local Weatherspoons.

  14. sorry I missed the live stream. Was out walking on the beach here in Surfside, South Carolina, USA😎
Our electric bill for our 2/2 piso in Madrid has avg. around 40 euros per month.
Love Bilbao. Cleanest city in Spain!

  15. Hi Stuart, with regards to this €100 a day request on entry of Spain, surely this wouldn't affect non-resident property owners in Spain? Cheers Stuart keep up the good work mate you doing a great job i never miss a show 👍 plenty of good info.

  16. During my daily WhatsApp chat with my novia colombiana today I mentioned in passing that Norway has now in fact more expensive electricity than Spain. However, we don't have anywhere near the same climate. They say that the winters get cold in La Mancha but they have no f*cking idea what the word cold means. Just saying.
