A look at some of the headlines around Spain and I’ll answer comments from recent videos. New houses are selling like hotcakes in Madrid and stocks are running low; Shakira set to go on trial for tax fraud; and 4 Brits in the Canary Islands are under investigation for residency fraud.

Hi Stu,
Great video as always,
I want to travel from Spain but I have just recovered from Hayfever so do I need a Hayfever Passport for travel as it is so so confusing…please clarify
Thanking you in advance
Ciao for now
We made it to Costa Blanca!☀️we love the weather and maybe will be a part of the community soon ☀️
Stu, I find it difficult to believe that you have never heard of Chemtrails……it's yet another one of the those taboo subjects that you don't like to discuss which, as a result, may get you in trouble with the YouTube masters.
Surely it would make mores sense if everyone just spoke the same language.
Hi Stu, I'm a regular watcher but rarely comment. However, I wanted to alert you and your followers about a new insidious scam by the Spainsh banks. I went to withdraw cash from the Liber Bank ATM and a new pop up window asked me if I wanted to convert the Euros into dollars? The conversion rate was .88, although today the euro is .93. They are trying to steal 5% off the transaction. If you see this window, proceed WITHOUT the conversion.
For a socialist country, Spain has few protections for consumers. Everyone is trying to steal from you, especially the energy companies, banks and internet and phone providers. It's actually worse here than in the USA, at least there you can sue, or at least threaten to!
Hi Stuart, preferred your 10 min newscasts! Do we need to have another ten mins of mentioning the names of people following you?
Great video! I must say I was shocked at the amount of tax Shakira is alleged to have avoided paying. E14.5m?! It must be very lucrative being an entertainer.
Alisa has a point. Due to work, I cannot stay an extra 10 days in Spain if I test positive. I do not want risk it. So no travel to Spain.
Latest news from Spain…Lawyers are going to have no chance of defending their clients if this Law gets passed..Spain's Congress has approved legislation that seeks to make it easier for victims of sexual violence to prosecute their attackers by emphasising the importance of consent.
The initiative was driven by the legal and social fallout from a notorious gang-rape case six years ago.
The Guarantee of Sexual Freedom law, also known as the "only yes means yes" law, was approved by a clear margin.
It must now be approved by the Senate before coming into effect…… Tony cuenca
VISA for Spain British travellers, alongside all other visitors from non-EU countries, will be subject to the chargeable authorisation system if aged between 18 and 70-years-old at (€7) per trip from next year.
Stuart, there is a big difference between the USA and the rest of the world. The US constitution safeguards the right of any citizen to bear arms. This was instituted by the founding fathers (Washington, Jefferson, Franklin etc.) to protect the ordinary citizen from a government that turned tyrannical.
Hi Stuart
Very much enjoyed your live stream last night, unfortunately I could not watch live, as I was not home,
I had to smile at the comment from Nick that he is now President of his community, and totally agree with what you advised him,
at the time he moved in his accommodation I asked him via your video by text if he was considering being president and it was a definite no no from Nick, I am president at our residency in la Marina Alicante, and
I hope he does well, and I enjoy seeing your link up with with Nick every now and again, Nick is a very likeable amusing person, and I enjoy his chats on your link up with him, just hope he is amicable and approachable in his new role, with the residents, as it does not take much to fall out with your neighbours especially if you are looking for minor issues, or hassling people as some presidents I have hear do, its not worth the aggro it can create,
Keep up your excellent programmes thanks Brian.
Here in cuenca there are plenty of doctors and nurses I know from personal experience…. Tony cuenca
When I first moved to Spain to live and work in 2001 I used to watch the Spanish “soaps” on TV and it was brilliant for learning basic Spanish !
Shakira needs the same lawyer as Ex King Juan Carlos !

Monkey Pox 🙉🙈🙊 Russel Brand
I thought all Spanish students learn English in school?
Hi Stu, what do you think about Spain not being able to get enough doctors from the EU? So, we are going to bring 200 doctors from South America?
Has the laws regarding squatting improved in Spain i.e. easer to get them out of your home?
