Before Sanchez sells off every drop of gas, maybe he should introduce it to all homes first… I live next to a big town but no mains gas. I've heard even some parts of Madrid don't have it which is a shame.

Hi Stu I just spent 2 days in Santander while on route to the Picos de Europa.
Santander has the cleanest beaches, water and footpaths I have seen in a long time (Aus & EU), shout out to the guys maintaining them doing an amazing job. I don't usually like a swim in the cold sea but it was so clean and clear I couldn't resist.

4:15 I holiday in northern Spain every year and the 'nasty surprises' dotted everywhere have spoilt many a walk. I can't remember this being a problem in the UK or France.

With regard to the pipeline, as I understand it all the governments potentially involved are committed to net zero, so surely that would mitigate against a long term infrastructure project involving the movement of natural gas.
