We are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. After days of rain today finally it seems like we are in luck. So let’s continue with that gable. I am starting with the diagonal wall that needs to connect to the gable wall. But again we start with cleaning up the wall.

Jasper. Next season take a plastic soft drink bottle and cut the top off. Pour beer in it and hang it in your olive trees. It's supposed to draw the fruit flies to it instead of the olives. Some are reporting a huge success. Worth a try.👍♥️
Hey, Jasper, it's probably already too late, but it might help/have helped to add some reinforcing steel wire or mesh to the angled corner where the beam has to sit. Those tejolos don't stick together too well, end to end, due to them being hollow.
If you have a chacne to do this, some galvansied chicken wire would be ideal, but ordinary rebar wire would do the job.
Bend it to the angle and lay in the bed joints before sitting the blocks on it.
I am enjoying your editing style more than the other fellow's. Not that his was bad in any way, but your style reminds me much more of when you began and they videos always had a very personal feel to them. They made me smile, like the current ones do.
