PADA Studios Artists-in-residence Stine Rørbech.

Stine Rørbech (b. 1970) is a danish artist and designer living and working in Copenhagen.

“In my practice I work with drawing out different kinds of consciousness through the work. I am occupied with materiality, structures, textures, colors and letting images emerge from the unconscious.Things float and merge in and out of each other. There is a thread-likesubstance that connects objects. I paint semi-abstract and immediate energyfigures with watery brushstrokes, and occasionally place them on a background, where they become part of a forgotten inner landscape with it’s own memory.”

PADA is an Art Residency & Gallery based in a post-industrial site near Lisbon, Portugal.
