It’s normal to feel a bit homesick when you first move abroad. After all, you’re leaving everything you know and love behind.

The pandemic gave us time to look inward and discover who we are. It gave us new dreams to follow, although we had to put them on hold for a bit.

Pursuing your dreams is what makes life worth living. It is what allows us to grow and develop as people.

Samantha returned to the US to explore her new dreams and to make up for some lost time caused by the pandemic. She is now working, pursuing her education, and enjoying time with friends and family.

We give our children roots, but if we’ve done our jobs, we also give them wings.

We are thrilled to see Samantha again after 6 months and looking forward to enjoying quality time with our now independent young daughter here in this great country of Portugal.
