It's the worst hotel in Tenerife. I wouldn't stay there again even if it was free.

people have been getting robbed on these paths for more than 10 years when you get to the top of that lane and turn left theres another lane which is a shortcut to the oro blanco i used to used it and seen locals in the bushes ready to pounce, people were getting mugged every day i agree with you never use those lanes at night alone

Stayed here in 2008. Our first visit to the island. Bit of a shithole, but has all the basics you need as a base for your stay in Tenerife. Great location and fairly cheap. Would i stay again (probably not). Remember a fight kicking off in the pool and a lad running in reception with a bloodied nose🤦

Not going through dark lanes late at night is a good piece of advice for anyone going anywhere in the world. That being said, mate that isn't even a lane, is a path rather wide, except for the trees on the sides there's a good range of visibility, it is also reasonably illuminated and there are high end terraced houses on the sides, probably people coming in or out of the houses relatively often.
Frankly, I don't see anything scary in that path, but well I guess you needed a little adventure to comment back in Bournemouth.
Although I must admit that we locals may look scary at first sight I assure you we have left our human meat consumption and head reducing habits long ago. But yes there aren't many locals living in that area I guess. Enjoy your stay in Tenerife.

I have stayed 3 times at the Las Piramides Hotel, like you say, good value for lower end market the " ALL IN" food is good, lots of variety. The first time I was there, a London girl was robbed of her phone and jewelry and beaten up by some local girls in the early hours in the morning, you need to be street wise, stick to the well lit area's and stay safe!!

A few paths like that about, more so back in 96 when I first went and stayed at the Andorra, before the Safari Centre etc was built. Imagine how many younger ones wouldn’t visit without places like Veronica’s, we were all young once, I loved it down there back in the day when Bobby’s and Busby’s were going strong.

Very informative vlog thanks. I haven’t been there since the early 80’s – a row of bars/nightclubs and a few Spanish restaurants. It looks like a huge Britain from home now – fish and chips, kebabs, pseudo Irish bars and sports tv! Times change 🤔😳

Great video I go to tenerife on 19th first time in 20 odd years,this video helped as a kinda guide my way around I wouldn't go near that path as I'm travelling solo so will keep to a taxi or walk where its more public 😎🥰

Great info fella, for some reason i find my self going back to Floritas appartments every year, dont know why as they are only 2Key I beleive but just theirs somthing good about them, Ive stopped in the 5 Star Anthony Hotel and enjoyed my self better in Las Floritas 🤷‍♂️ crazy as it may sound 🙄

I stayed at Las Piramides when I went in December 2019 with some friends, who booked it, and used the Santander bank near by, I did find this shortcut on my own, great video
