  1. The Moon is also great and owned by the same person as El Gran Sol, Sayed. He is super efficient, always dashing around but also has time for a chat, mostly about football! He recognises us from one year to the next as we stay over Xmas and New Year at the Jardines de Nivaria – you did fantastic vlog – whose back gate with keycard access is next to Tony Roma. We always go for tapas or lunchtime snack and the views are gorgeous. I never tire of watching your blogs of this area, so keep them coming Kevin!

  2. that restraunt at the start with the guitarist… we have been there…its a wee bit classier… those prices are not really mad high.. remember its in Euro's … … even back here in North Kent.. a bag o chips is about £3 now… and i can sit in mcdonalds and spend £10 on junk burger.. a cafe brekfast in Kent now you struggle to get under £8 and the food is budget bread, beans, margarine etc.. its gone up everywhere.. .. .. for myself if i ever go again depending on the jabb madness.. i dont mind payin for a quality food if im there for 10 days on hol… you ex-pats and residents are always eeking out your funds(dont blame you) and looking for the cheapest place.. .. .. the pub quizzes for a £3 bottle of wine are hilarious the bar packed with hard nosed residents desperate to win that freebie…. .. can you do a video of those Swedish pensioners in christianos playing that petanque game… they look so healthy and also very competitive… im sure their pension is considerably better than the typical northerner that sold the council house and retired in the sunshine… its a mad place Tenerife we love it.. .. but id never live there

  4. Great video, probably my favourite spot in Tenerife for an evening walk. Though I'd recommend the smaller restaurants just underneath those ones facing out onto the seafront as better value and quality for dinner – Limoncello, El Makami and a few more, also the Loch Ness for the cheap 3 courses and they look after the kids really well as well.

  5. Hi Kevin, just got back from this fantastic island, we booked a fantastic restaurant up in the hills near Arona village. Its called Olivers out of Town and I can honestly say its the best restaurant in the area. 27 euros for a starter and main course. You really should check it out. Mind you, you have to book about 5 months in advance! Great Vlogs by the way.

  6. hotel guayarmina next week kevin, cannae wait.it is too dear to eat out, nicer restaurants along the beach front there at fanube.plus fanube does need a refurbed, prom is falling apart.bars and some restaurants defo need refurbed too, sticky tables and carpets.toilets need refurbed etc.they were all closed through lockdown.we remember walking along there at lockdown 4 nothing open.

  7. I keep thinking about trying Las Americas next time I visit Tenerife, but after watching this video it’s made me remember how lovely Fanabe is in the evenings.
Sitting in El Gran Sol sampling various gins while watching the sunset… so beautiful!
Lovely video Kevin, thanks for the memories👍🏻
