Here are some “realistic” difficulties you might face when moving to Germany as a foreigner (especially as someone from the USA and a longterm resident). I always try my best to give advice to people thinking of moving to Germany because I get a lot of questions pertaining to “moving to Germany”. I will always advise you to travel and move somewhere new because it helps you expand your knowledge/wisdom about the world BUT you need to know all of the obstacles you might face because you do not want to be a burden to the new country you are living in.
