The 7 lessons I learned with Dutch People after living in The Netherlands for 2 years

Hey guys! I hope you liked this video where I run you through the seven lessons I learned with Duchies, after living in Amsterdam for over two years. Please let me know if you agree with this, or if there’s anything else you’ve learned with Dutch People you’d like to share!

✨ABOUT ME

Hey there, I’m Beatriz, a 26 year old Portuguese girl!

In 2019 I moved to Amsterdam, from sunny Lisbon, after landing a job in the city of the canals. A year and many adventures later, I decided to start writing about my endeavors in Amsterdam, my traveling adventures and more personal stories I believe are worth sharing.

In 2021, I decided to create this Youtube channel to help my fellow expats that are considering moving to Amsterdam or The Netherlands. Moving can be really tough, so I’m here to help you out and make your life easier!

  2. The shifting/cutting of the video is very very annoying and sick making. It distracts and it makes the video one long speedy vomit of pictures and sound. It is not nice to watch and listen to. I stopped the video before it ended.

  3. I am Dutch, and I am now retired. I have worked in healtcare and there it is normal, that employees receive feedback training , a few times a year. It is mandatory to participate in this. I have worked in care for the disabled. 🙂🌷

  4. What do you wear to office in Netherlands? Do they follow formals strictly?
Also, is Work from home going on now? Or people are actively going to office (in case of multinational companies)
