Bali…? Cairo…?! Are you mad…?
Plus a load of countries where they speak a different language.
Brilliant.
You can't choose a country solely on energy production! It's far more complex than that.
I love the footnote of Visual Capitalist. I came across Visual Capitalist graphics a few months ago, and found them both succint and enlightening.
GREAT video, Andrew! I listened to it twice to make sure I got all the information. Love listening to all your wonderful advice, thanks so much for what you do.
Tons of tips! Thank You👍
Knoema is a great resource guys.
You can look at ratios of what's produced vs what's consumed by the country.
India has good weed…. 😁
Colombia my first choice and Ecuador the second. I have lived in Australia for over 20 years soon we will look at moving. My husband is Colombian so not issues with papers and Ecuador would also be easy due to his Colombian citizenship.
USA will soon disallow dual citizenship.
Didn't know about the Saudi residence. I'd much sooner pay that price than i would go through a caribbean cbi. Obviously everyone's needs are different
Links to the reports would be great
You mentioned Colombia, but how can you pay low taxes there? It is a high tax country that is posed to get even higher taxes.
In terms of "energy," just ask yourself where the cheapest gasoline and gas supply in the world is, and oh, yes, plenty of water. If that's what you're REALLY looking for (by the way, it wasn't mentioned in the clip).
India, we dont need heat during the winter if your in the plains, lots of basic food available. Electricity also pretty stable during the winter. You can escape Europe if need be.
Does not all of this assume the availability of reliable, reasonably-priced, air transport? If there is a serious crisis in a country, that may be problematic. Except perhaps when moving around in Europe. Thoughts?
Anyone considering a move to Europe must have a death wish😱. Norway? Belgium? Good grief. Stay away
Hi, I would love to get your thoughts on this news that just hit. I know you often talk about Mexico. Thank you in advance! U.S. STATE DEPT ISSUES TRAVEL ADVISORY TO AVOID TRAVEL TO MEXICO; VIOLENT CRIMES SUCH AS HOMICIDE, KIDNAPPING, CARJCKING AND ROBBERY IS WIDESPREAD AND COMMON IN CERTAIN STATES/CITIES IN MEXICO
Colombia is an interesting play for me as part of our tech team is in Barranquilla. I've got friends ties to Brazil as well as Argentina.
Cheers for this matie
The best countries are the ones that have high taxes. Fact. That's how they finance being great countries.
You probably know a lot more about this stuff than I do, but Egypt seems like a poor choice right now due to the wheat issue
There is also talk about poor grain harvests due to drought and expensive fertilizer coming in 2022 and 2023. So, looking at stable countries with both energy sources and good domestic food sources. Brazil and Colombia rank high here and also Turkey and Bali (all of Indonesia ranks high on this topic). I am currently in Mexico but water will become a big issue soon. Norway will be one of the few good spots in Europe.
This all sounds great, but do you have your own methods of transport to get your 6 location independently. Example, sailboat, motoryacht with fuel reserve or your own jet
uae has no citizenship . singapore is Best option. has cheap public transport.
Para los que no saben inglés él dice : qué inche goleada le metieron al Cruz Azul , aunque el árbitro ayudó al amierdica como siempre.
How can I get permanent residence in Hungary if I don't have any European roots?
Great topic ! Lots to consider . I’ve always thought about access to water for starters eg no desert 🌵 for me personally or areas prone to droughts
The place all these things come together is the US, especially the southeastern US and midwest.
I feel like this video forgets to mention something quite important which is the whole resource management side of these countries, either due to corruption or government restrictions/control just because a countries has resources doesn't mean it's available to everyone and easy to access and could come with strings attached such as the middle eastern countries and their religious system or brazil with lots of resources but bad infrastructure, extremely high crime rates and government corruption not somewhere you want to build your farm unless you have a tank battalion and snipers just in case and then you have to consider can you actually consume those resources? Do you have safety and freedom? 🙂
in saudi arabia premium resident visa/permit aside from the payment of SR800,000 you also have an annual renewable fee of $26,000
Interesting! Another factor to consider is climate change.
Colombia is a great country. I like this country. As does my wife
