In our FINAL Sicilian episode, we visit Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina and the gorgeous city of Enna! Villa Romana del Casale is a 4th century AD Roman Villa that houses some of the most incredible – and compelling – series of Roman mosaics anywhere in Europe. Right in the center of Sicily lies Enna, known until 1926 as Castrogiovanni, and towering above the surrounding countryside, it has earned the nicknames ‘Belvedere’ and ‘Ombelico di Sicilia’, which literally translates to the Navel of Sicily!

About Us:
When we were in our early 20’s, chasing our own dreams of living in Europe, we met one night at a pub in Florence…11 months later, we were married! Having been together for 4 years now, we have lived & worked on 3 different continents & even on a cruise ship!
We moved back to Italy to live out one of our biggest dreams – to pull off the Ultimate Italian Road Trip, traveling to all 20 regions of Italy by the end of 2022! We will be showcasing the impressive diversity all 20 regions of Italy have to offer – from the history, architecture, art, culture, food, traditions and so much more! 🇮🇹

we are waiting 😉
I still hope you come to Monreale, near Palermo, one day 💙
Bravissimi ragazzi, che meraviglia!
Centra Sicily is more lush than I thought. We mostly went around the coast a few years ago.
👍 👍 👍 😎 🙂 ❤️
I am looking forward to see your videos from Ponza😍😍 well if you visit it of course🤣
So amazing you also visited our home town with its typical winter foggy weather. Really enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the next serie 😁
I have really enjoyed your refreshing take on Sicily and I will be visiting Palermo, Catania, and all points in between in June. I can't wait to try some of that delicious food especially all the pistachio. Do you have any go to advice for car rentals or airport transfers, a website of forum that might be useful? I love your channel and I've recommended to the other travelers in our group.
So glad you started in Sicily. You captured the island so well (far better than a recent ‘made for tv’ documentary I saw).
Many YouTube channels look for the best this and the best that – please keep your warts and all approach as it adds to what makes your content so watchable.
All the best.
Enjoyed your whole Sicilian experience . Do you have a map with all the places you visited ? Also , any tips on the best place to rent cars cheaply in Sicily ?
Ma perché da quasi tutti i canali di youtube sono sparite le traduzioni dei commenti degli utenti in altre lingue?
Io vivo a Enna e sono innamorata di Erice .Grazie per aver fatto questo video simpaticissimo.
Great video presentation…up close & FUN!! 🙂
Thanks for sharing all these Great Places… (Love Sicily & All of Italy) GOD Bless~
Did I miss something, as I can't find any video of you visiting Ragusa.
If so, its a shame that you didn't fit in a visit as the old town known as Ragusa Ibla is stunning.
I remember visiting Piazza Armerina a couple of years ago and thinking that the old town would be a great place to have holiday home if you could buy one of the numerous rundown beautiful buildings. That is provided it didn't cost a small fortune to fix up.
Top-notch video as usual.
Sad to leave the island of my dreams.
Thank you and keep up the great work on your channel.
Stupendo♥️
Congrats guys on completing tour 1! I’ve been there every step of the way. Was it me or was Micha about to kill over after climbing the tower? Haha. Can’t wait to start leg 2 of the Tour De Italy! Cheers Kirk
Bummer we did not get to meet you guys….good video…glad you liked our town….wish you had visited our cemetery….one of the best in the country…Cheers
Keep going with the archaeology and history. Great segments. You are a terrific team. Could you do a little video on your future plans? A break? On to the rest?
