The King’s Fountain depicts a scene set around the Chafariz de El-Rei in Lisbon, the capital of the-then Kingdom of Portugal. Painted during the late 16th century, the work features images associated with the wealth and power of the burgeoning Portuguese Empire
The painting notably contains a depiction of a Black Portuguese knight (possibly King John III himself) endowed with the heraldry of the Order of Santiago
The wide variety of figures seen in the painting led to the work being described as being an example of globalization in the Renaissance period.
The Order of Santiago “ Orden de Santiago”  is a religious and military order founded in the 12th century. It owes its name to the Patron Saint of Spain, “Santiago” (St. James the Greater). Its initial objective was to protect the pilgrims on the Way of St. James, to defend Christendom and to remove the Muslim Moors from the Iberian Peninsula.[1] Entrance was not however restricted to nobility of Spain exclusively, and many members have been prominent Catholic Europeans in general. The Order’s insignia is particularly recognizable and abundant in Western art.

Lets Here what a possible living descendant of The Santiago Order has to say Today …..

Hope You enjoy

  1. Brother. Have you done a video on what made you want to do all this work? You are a very peculiar man because you haven't allowed the distractions to seek and find the truth. Then you didn't keep the truth hidden you shared it with us. You are a gem. I wish I was wealthy I would pay you for your hard work. Thank you again.

  2. Yes… I bet there are more of these Hidden Gems.
We will see more of these Paintings, and Paint Overs… surfacing and being
Exposed. The truth will… prevail, as time goes by.
Thank you for sharing this great information with us.

  3. Great work Kurimeo – as always. Came also to find your videos on the Indigenous peoples and saw that a lot of your older videos are gone. Where did they go?

  4. Every dark skinned copper skinned ppl should thank this brother kurimeo for his hard work remember you gotta have care in your heart I knew some of this stuff but this brother connected the dots I need to overstand respect kurimeo

  5. That fool ogling over the painting and trying to sound sophisticated and intelligent while labeling folks "Black" and saying stupid sh!t like "you can see all the different nationalities" was asf! Acting as if a melanated man in Europe was a f*ck!ng unicorn!

  6. they say the black knight is joao de Sa panasco, a court jester turned knight. but according to the requirements of the order of Santiago, one must be of noble birth, be able to prove their great grandparents were Catholic, and not have worked a laborous(?) career. So somebody gotta be lying 🤔

  7. Nice to see that there are people who understand that all Moors weren’t just Muslims. Interesting painting but not surprising if you’re even a little read up on that history. Thanks for your daily grind

  8. Great info brother. It,s interesting to see that this painting is made by a Dutch painter. Meaning they knew what was going on. I myself am born in Dutch Guyana, which is now called Surinam. I have seen more so called Dutch paintings with our people on it. Again thanks for your hard brother.

  9. Great research Kurimeo!🔥 Putting the pieces together. What’s interesting to me is this painting was in a private collection. I believe there are many more hidden away in private collections and homes. Especially, the Vatican when it comes to paintings depicting Catholicism.

  10. The Port of Gual aka Celts. In 1305 King Phillip the Fair aka the Iron King of France exiled over 100,000 Jews and robbed them of their wealth. Alot of these Jews went to Portugal. The Knights Templar won a fight to liberate Portugal from the Moors. Shared your video on Nairaland I am Richwallet and Harshbittertrut.

  11. So now we know they all on the same side no matter what color or country there were from French Portugal Dutch English Spain There were all on the same side to conquer and destroy the American culture we need to watch the leaders of today no matter what color they are

  12. Know the picture well Who are the people being killed nd tortured in picture they seem to be black as well. Seem to be 3 classes people in this picture. Horse riding Black Catholic, white people nd black people being killed or tortured in this picture. These Black jews there shipped two places 1, being St Tomas, 2, the coast of where else??? By king John 1 nd the 2nd For not converting to Catholic This picture is at the time of the Spanish Inquisition The skulls found there in Spain's the church of bones where skull of black jews that was persecuted for not converting to Roman Catholic. The study of skulls can help you see thru the smoke sceen.. The Moors nd Jews ruled Spain for over 700 years. Lisbon was an Hebrew city where Hebrew merchant thrived. This all came to and end with the popes decrease in 1452… which spond the Spanish inquisition..

  13. Painters painted these scenes from memory or real visions of what they saw. They didn't pose for this. Sit down and start painting what you see in society when people are moving and living

  14. Benaya Israel went in on this painting. Y'all check it out. I think a black man head was being burned off at the stake if I'm not mistaken. .K.A. what up

  15. Remember Madonna broadcast how amazing Portugal is – was this a call for a certain group to return. This influx of foreigners has been so great that locals can't afford the rise in the cost of living.
