The Sandbox has partnered with Ledger, a France-based hardware crypto wallet business, to help increase crypto awareness and education among metaverse gamers. The partnership was announced by Ledger during the Non-Fungible Conference, which is presently taking place in Lisbon, Portugal. Education about cryptocurrencies and security, according to Ian Rogers, Ledger’s chief experience officer, is critical. According to reports, the Sandbox has over 500,000 users as of November 2021, and the platform had made $93 million in revenue.
After watching this video you will know how to create a MetaMask wallet and a sandbox account. In this video I will explain step by step and show you how to do everything.
The first thing you need to do is to set up your MetaMask wallet.
MetaMask is a free cryptocurrency wallet that works with almost any Ethereum-based platform. MetaMask is a free hot wallet service that may be used through a smartphone app or a web browser extension.
In a nutshell, your secret recovery phrase is made up of 12 different words. It’s there as a backup in case you lose the phone or laptop where you downloaded your MetaMask wallet and need to import it into a new device.
The next step is to buy ETH or SAND and transfer it to your wallet and then connect your wallet to the Sandbox marketplace.
On The Sandbox map, click ‘Sign In’ in the top right corner. Make sure your wallet is also set to the correct blockchain as the project, in this case, Ethereum.
The Sandbox will now ask you to add an email address and create a nickname.
