The South of Portugal 🇵🇹

We start this journey in the south of Portugal in the Algarve where we explore the city of Faro, the beaches and the old palace. This is the side of Portugal that those who visit only Lisbon and Porto never get to experience.

  1. I got back yesterday from a week in the town of Estoi, about 15 mins from Faro. I recommend it if you want to experience rural village life in Portugal. The Roman ruins are pretty cool too, some very well preserved mosaics.

  2. Why would you drink tap water anywhere? I don't even drink it much in Seattle and it's extremely clean water here lol. I certainly wouldn't drink tap water anywhere in Europe because you just never know and it's better to be safe than sorry.

  3. AMAZINg. The road you showed looks very similar to Santo Domingo. It has a very strong colonial touch. Just been in Santo Domingo and will release the video this weekend. It all has a colonial touch from the 15 century. very similar

  4. Welcome to Algarve. Cod fish dishes are great 👍. Sardines grilled with baked potatoes great. The hospitality of Portuguese is Fantastic and they’re always available to help with directions. Carcasas are great bread buns

  5. One of the biggest differences I noticed between Portugal and Spain is that it seems like literally everybody in Portugal speaks English while its a completely different story in Spain..

  6. I absolutely love the algarve coast so stunning, i definitely prefer lagos over faro though. Yes you're totally correct about it being full of British people (I'm British too haha) we tend to invade most coastal towns in Spain and Portugal. Lisbon is also an amazing city

  7. Brother, that church, and what that asshole was doing, don't even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath. Memento mori is important in religion whether you believe or not, everyone born in history has or will die. What that dude did would wind him up in prison in any civilized country

  8. Hey Johnny, if your still around Lisbon I’d really recommend taking the train over to Sintra. Quinta da Regaleira is really an amazing sight! I’ve been there a few times and it’s really got to be seen to be believed, photos don’t do the place justice.

  9. The South of Portugal..
More like the South of your Ass.
Your thumbnail was not a photo of your video, so that's clickbait. Also, you never explained or introduced who you were traveling with when you said that there were two of you and someone else was filming, so that's bad vlogging. Not good.

  10. Please go to Evora and try Migas at Dom Joaquim! Reserve it before going there. Also, you can try 'Restaurante o Antão' which is managed by ukrainians, tell them that you came because of Yaroslav Moroz and probably you will get a discount 😀

Seriously, Évora is one day trip and it's worth it.

Cheers from Portuguese-Ukrainian who lives in Switzerland 🙂

  11. ATTENTION!!!!I enjoy all your post but you SOUND AND VOLUME ARE TERRIBLE and sometimes not understandable! Check out another vlogger named "itchy Boots" who travels on a motorcycle. Her volume is always understandable even while riding!!

  12. Portuguese follower's advice: Southern Portugal's water is safe to drink, however it is very hard (it's full of minerals) and, for people not used to it (like we northerners), it tastes absolutely disgusting. I recommend bottled water from either the central or northern part of the country (Like Luso or Penacova from Coimbra, Vitalis from Aveiro or Fastio from Serra do Gerês). House branded water usually supplies itself from local providers, so while it tastes good enough from Lisboa upwards, it tastes just as bad as tap water down in Algarve. Also, avoid Monchique water, it's even harder.

  13. Well Portugal is the next stop, everyone found it. I read that people from California are moving there and the rents are going way up to the point the locals can’t afford it. Beautiful country though, good thing my wife is from Brazil and speaks Portuguese.
