THEY DID IT! They bought a house in Portugal in 5 days!

This is part two of Penzance 2 Portugal and Ginny and Zac’s journey to moving to Portugal in 5 days, is it even possible?
Massive thanks to our lawyer Vera Gomes and estate agent Paula Rita who helped to make this dream a reality, send us a DM if you need their details.
Please follow their journey and give them a subscribe as they are my family and it would mean the world to me to know i have helped them to launch their channel, my sister is very funny as you will find out!
Follow us on our other socials and feel free to support our channel through Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee or on the channel membership, as we grow and find our feet we will find ways to show our gratitude.

  1. Nick was the gentleman you who was teaching you the pronunciation of the names the previous owner of this house? Did I understand Ginny to say that they didn't charge them extra for the added land on the deed? If so, the previous owner must be a very honest and kind gentleman. The oranges on their tree are huge! I am going to check out Ginny and Zac's channel. Thanks for sharing this update. I enjoyed the wrap up that you and Sarah did at the end. It is always fun when you sit down to chat together.

  2. Great vlog and congratulations on new home, I love it!!..BUT I have so many questions now for these guys, 1. What method is your sister and partner using to live in Portugal as Brits no longer part of EU? . 2. What work do they both do that and workng from home? 3. Do they have a subject on renovation spend?

  3. What a great project! I absolutely love the place. I can already imagine enjoying a cold drink in the summer under the grape vine canopy out by Ginny"s salad garden. It's funny that Zach stated he was going to be buried in the salt box…they give me the heebee geebees! Definetly a lot of good adventures to come. I'm in it for the long haul. Thanks again for sharing!

  4. Yeah congratulations to Ginny and Zac on their move to Portugal. Great to hear the legal issues were resolved – getting a few extra sqm is always a bonus (I had the opposite where the size of the land was 25% smaller than advertised – so walked away). Ginny's methodical planning for their D7s obviously paid off (hope mine does too submitted this week). Thanks for the great vlog Nick and Sarah – and Ginny and Zac.

  5. Great to see Ginny and Zack have made it to Portugal. House looks a great purchase with lots of potential and super location. Switching over to their vlog now. Great vlog.

  7. Congratulations to your sister & husband, on their purchase. Thanks for sharing, are y’all back in the UK? We have had a very wet cold rainy Spring here in USA, in our area, which has been rough on trying to get our corn, & rice planted, we still farm but very small acreage now, just around 300 acres, we be old lol but helps us to have some extra income in our old age but we both grew up on farms & raised our girls on the farm, but we still farm old fashion no hi tech expensive farm machinery for us. Farming has certainly changed in the 57 years we have farmed, & inflation has hit us big time, but we love the life so try to enjoy the good times & thankful we get through the tough times, & we try to keep our sense of humor. Have a great week & I always enjoy your videos.

  8. The house and land is quite good, Yes some work required but it’s liveable. The bathroom is really good, Congratulations to your Sister and Brother-in-law. Thanks Nick and Sarah for bringing us along. It’s really exciting isn’t it. Sarah I’m a little sad personally as I too love oranges and have never tasted a fresh Portuguese orange, yet. 🇨🇦

  9. Hope the misery you endured, and from which others have learned so much, is behind you now. And so glad you are able to enjoy the slower pace.

  10. Thanks Nick and Sarah I have been waiting to have an update on you Ginny and Zack. Their property looks great, just the right amount of land to manage, lovely views, neighbours not too close and the house livable. I am sure over time they will renovate it to their liking. Good buy at 55k
Now Nick you should wear your "bucket hat" more often, it so suits you, certainly puts a smile on my face. Lastly the last shot in the vlog, are you in Portugal or Cornwall, I wondered about the dogs and the beach in the background.
