Example – today's title: This Apartment is So Weird…Even New Yorkers Avoid It. Huh? Both of today's places are empty, but probably only for about five minutes. I bet nobody is "avoiding" them. Weird? Neither are weird, seem weird, or are "so weird", and boy you have shown us plenty of weird places! Come up with better titles! We'll still watch!
I was born and raised here in Southern California. When I was a kid, I heard about apartments and always thought they were kinda cool. My first time in one, i think was when my oldest brother went off to college in AZ, so i was prolly around 12. Idk why, i just thought the concept was cool, cause I had always lived in houses. So, when I was 18, i left home and moved in with my then boyfreind, to an apartment. It was definitely different! I lived in 3 until I was 24. Got married, finally bought my first house. Thats when i realized I was throwing my money away paying rent! I know this is a different coast, different times, but its crazy to see some of these astronomical prices, cramped spaces, lack of amenities, and having to have roommates just to survive! I mean, just to rent a room in most of these, would cost more than my mortgage! I would never live there, i just couldnt adapt back to apartment living. The amount of stairs, most not having laundry inside, having to share bathrooms! I just couldnt. I laugh when he gets happy over the simplest things, like a sink sprayer! I just love watching to see some of the unique floorplans and ideas!

From the photo of the window with the shelves it really can’t be opened more than a few inches as the bottom rail protrudes too far to clear the shelves which were placed too class to the glass. Great design but poor execution.
The second apartment appealed to me more because the kitchen was brighter and the rent was lower. Having to deal with a roommate with one bathroom gets old really fast.
That shelf in the kitchen window, that's for plants! Great idea, still opening window, lots of light for growing herbs! Or I suppose you could put pretty vases or coffee cups in it. I like plants.
