Wow fantastic scenery beautiful house, were there bears in the area, the town of Jim Thorpe absolutely charming
❤️❤️
I have been to day trips to the Poconos and enjoyed myself. This looks like a great escape from NYC For a weekend!
Love the videos but honestly…as a European living in Germany, that looks absolutely nothing like Germany / Switzerland.
Trust me, I know how you feel! You need to leave the city every so often to clear your mind! Thats why i left but i didnt think i would miss it so much! Now, Im trying to go back. Im still working on it.
Notice your going outside of NYC. please give Staten Island some love will yah!!!!
Back in Australia for work – left our apartment in NYC for 3 months – thank you for excellent video postcard!
I live in PA and LOVE going to Jim Thorpe, seeing you there in the video definitely gave me some major whiplash haha
While this town is indeed about 2 hours from NYC, the beginning of the Poconos is just 90 minutes from NYC. Jim Thorpe is a bit further into Pa. Good job showing the town, it's beautiful there.
Gorgeous house! Glad you had fun!
Lake Wallenpaupeck is also great to visit.
Can take public transportation from Port Authority. Thumbs up!
Jon
Cool video of the Poconos.
So great to see that you made it to our “happy place”!
PS. You guys are us 30 yrs ago!! 😂
Jim Thorpe – nice! Brings back memories. But to me best part was hidden gem about 10 miles away No. 9 Coal Mine and Museum. If you haven’t heard – check it out. A must visit! Hopefully it’s open again especially coal mine.
Great video
I’ve passed by the locations in your videos on my trips from Indiana to NYC and now I see thanks to your video there is a magical adventure waiting for us. Great ideas for future getaways. Like always a thumbs up
Bill in Fort Wayne Indiana
I had a snake exactly the one in this video in my Livingroom once. I wish I had watched this video first so I could have considered that snake as a taste of the Poconos.
Wow what an amazing place! Town really is picture perfect and love the cool waterfall!
Beautiful!!!
You nailed it again Jon. Love the variety of the videos. Two very different places to the hectic pace of NYC. Loved the place you stayed in the Poconos. Ben is really coming into his own. Seems great to work with and a nice person.
I never heard about this place before. You really showed us the history and beauty of this place! I would love to go there one day! Great video my friend! I really want visit and stay in my own country and learn about the many places I still want to go in the United States!
Can you share the link to the house? Would love to rent it..
I never knew that those heart shaped tubs originated there. That basement with the couch and big screen tv looks amazing! That would be like my dream basement! Seems like a great place to stay cool and play board games or watch movies.
That sounds like such a creepy name, Shades of Death Trail. It looks like a beautiful trail, though, especially that waterfall.
Jim Thorpe is the town I grew up in before moving to NYC. It definitely is a great place to get away and have some peace and quiet
Wow Jon ! If I ever move to NYC one I know that I can escape the city if I need too !
Have you ever been up to Cooperstown? Jim Thorpe reminded me a lot of the areas around Cooperstown and the finger lakes
Jon this place looks great 👍👍👍🇹🇹🇹🇹
Heart shaped bathtubs were in the honeymoon hotels along Niagara Falls Blvd between Buffalo and Niagara Falls NY about ten years before the Poconos.
I do remember another famous YouTuber lost his drone in Mexico 😊☺️😁😄😆
Wow, Ben is a cameraman, a drone pilot(ish), an amateur diver, and a chef!
Jon, you really found a great teammate!
As beautiful as lakes are, I find them unsettling. Too many horror movies probably!
I love Jim Thorpe. What an incredibly beautiful little town. I have been there quite a few times.
