This week we got started on the stone tiny house & it feels so good to get the wheels in motion!
To get all of the wood out of the tiny home, I made a temporary wood store (which I’m pretty chuffed with!). I also worked on a solution to stop Poppy escaping & Victoria made some tasty pomegranate juice.

Hi Ricky and Victoria. Really enjoyed your video. The small stone building looks so much cleaner after your hard work, it's going to look great when finished. Drink looked good, think Victoria needs a juicer lol. Good job on the fencing to keep Poppy in. Have a good week xx
Your different takes on how to find amusement and satisfaction in the everyday on your farm was fun.
And a big thank you on demonstrating juicing and how to mix a delicious pomegranate juice. I needed that because my 2 year old tree has gone crazy this season – carrying approximately 45 baby pomegranates. I only knew eating fresh, or freezing the arials.
You were right to leave the mesh on the inside she,d eventually push through with her nose ! be prepared for her to start digging under the gate ! quick story we had a bearded collie once similar to Poppy always wanted to be with myself and the brothers, the uncle came down spent a couple of hours making a new gate for the enclosure. Finished he came up to the house for a cup of tea and said now he wont get out of that again ! The kettle didnt even boil before the dog was in the kitchen licking his hand ! The uncle just got up and left 😀😀. Love the piece with Victoria a nice addition. You,ve started the tiny home so it can only get better !!
What a lovely, relaxing video. It left me smiling . Thankyou. 🌷💕🐨
Nice one both, but has the little escape artist escaped since ?
For pomegranate juice people use a citrus press. The kind you use for oranges and it’s a hand press.
Wow—it looks soooo much better!!
…that daunting task of clearing out the old smelly debris from the cabin. I wanted to wear a mask just watching!! So congratulations 🎉 well done!!
You and Victoria have the gift of inspiring confidence. It’s really nice to see you getting started and breaking through the daunting
Lovely watching your progress. It is really starting to look like your ideas are bearing fruit. I can see that Poppy will soon show you how good she is at digging! Looking forward to the next vid.
Hello, Ricky and Victoria! Just adding a comment to help your channel. Subscribed during your 1st video. 😉
Thank you for the update on the property. Glad you got it cleaned out. Victoria is a sweetheart. Love her gentle voice. Love and Blessings to you all. Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
How about work and talk at the same time?
Hi Ricky and Victoria from Wyoming, USA! Just wanted to say my husband and I are really enjoying your channel and watching how everything is taking shape.
5 years ago we began the same
Journey as you of working full time jobs and turning our 35 acres of raw land into a homestead and building our home all on our own. We don’t owe for anything and have paid for everything as we get the money. Much respect for what you’re doing.
Did you get all the asbestos out?
I can't tell you enough how relieved I am that you suited and masked up for the cleaning task. People often ignore how dangerous it is to breathe in dust and spores and other stuff, and the effect of those on the lungs and overall health. Kudos!!!!
Sometimes dogs lick their paws because of seasonal allergies. Find out from the vet what over the counter antihistamines you can use to help resolve this.
so…. most dogs will lick their feet/legs etc., when the area is causing them pain… maybe he has a little arthritis in his foot?
Years ago I bought some of that plastic mesh and fixed it with cable ties to keep my dogs in. It works Ricky and it’s still in place!👍
You were using the pestle but dont feel bad, I had to look it up as well 😊
Good work
Good video! 🇨🇦
I love how you are getting more confident with every video and that Victoria is participating too! Love your vlogs!
Poppy. He king the gate out at the end is so cute bless her, the pomegranates yummy juice, I was like yuck with the snakeskin , great clear out what a mucky job eh.x
When our dogs have shown a tendency to lick the top of their paws it was an indication that their seasonal allergies were flaring up. I would dose with Benadryl and they would be fine.
🌟👏👍🍀💐
Ohhh, Poppy has been foiled!! Lovely to see both of you! What a great job done on the barn! Can’t wait to follow what you do next! The pomegranate juice looked just yummy!
Keep up the great work!

Not a fun job cleaning the barn out. That snake skin……I had a sheltie that licked her paw until it was raw on top. The vet said she had OCD. lol
He may have a grass seed embedded between his toes. They can become infected and also migrate into the circulation, so may pay to have a really close look 🙂
You remind me of a CSI officer……….! ! Seriously that little house is going to be gorgeous……
Grimm Fairy tale cottage .It's enchanting.
