This old house, with its name “Casa do Cavalinho”, is one of those little jewels that seems to have stopped in time. Based on the documents we found, the property has been inhabited until 2000.
The house belonged to a couple. After the man passed away, the lady lived alone in the house. The couple had a daughter and a son. There are letters that the son sent to his parents during his time in the Portuguese army (as a soldier) and there are also documents about a divorce involving his daughter.
