In 2019 we bought a Tiny house in Northern Sweden
3 years on we do a tour showing what we’ve done and had done to make it our perfect Summer home
If we can do it anyone can
Also we reveal our total spend so far on our project
This small cabin purchase was the result of visiting family in Vasterbotten and was the start of our ideas for retiring outside of the Uk and living a simple lifestyle
The weather in Vasterbotten Lapland is amazing going from -30C in Winter or even colder occasionally to +30C in Summer again occasionally even hotter
Extreme temperatures give different joys and problems ie in winter you need to protect anything where water can be as the freezing can break metal, summer heat can also give forest fire dangers so fire management is required.

£2k seems really cheap for a Scandinavian country. Do you need need to pay ground rent or lease ?
Haha as a Norwegian that left my country 20 yrs ago, love the fact that you have pizza grandiosa still in Sweden! Priceless 😉
Love the Amanita Muscaria mushroom by the woodpile. Loved by reindeer and part of Swedish Christmas decorations and folklore. Looks great, you’ve done a great job and have great vision for how things would work better. Can I live there when you’re not there 😁 ha ha
You have made such a fantastic job of your cabin. It's really wonderfull in every way. Thanks for sharing!
