Muito obrigado! Our hotel in late October is on the east side of Parque Eduardo VII right across from the yellow pavilion. It seemed to me that the walk down Av. da Liberdade would be a great way to see a lot without taking the metro, and your video confirms that. GREAT tip on accessing the viewpoint at the top of the lift from Carmo Convent and using the H&M escalators.
That H&M escalator tip gets you a thumbs up!

Lisbon is the best, but the restaurants in the Baixa have never been great. Before all the tourists started flocking to Lisbon, the locals would tell you not to eat there because those poser restaurants were for tourists only. And the service was rubbish too. Once foolishly waited over an hour in one of those places and not a single server came to take our order, so we buggered off. At least we got to rest in the shade with a cerveja.
