The TransPortugal MTB race, arguably one of the toughest MTB stage races you will find, is an 8-day journey from Chaves, in the north of Portugal, to Sagres, located on the southern tip of this beautiful country. With a field of 130 riders, covering some 930km’s in distance and over 16K meters of vertical ascent, this is an endurance event that should not be taken lightly. We entered this event in 2019, and after multiple false starts due to Covid, we are finally on our way to Portugal for this epic adventure.
