It is a short travel day from Lisbon to Sao Miguel Island off the coast of Portugal where we will be staying for the next week. Outside of the big city of Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel is full of small towns without much public transportation. In order to see everything we wanted while on the island, we rented a car for the first time since traveling abroad and you wont BELIEVE the price for a week long car rental on this island.
