TRAVELING BY BUS IN PORTUGAL | TIPS & TRICKS #4 | Almost everything about bus travel within Portugal

Here’s my fourth Tips & Tricks! It’s about traveling by bus in Portugal 🙂
I hope you find my tips useful, and decide to travel in an Eco-friendly way while in my country.

In this video I cover information about:
– our national bus system and international connections with Spain
– general information about buses and bus stations
– extra costs of luggage
– holidays and weekends affecting running schedules
– tips on how to surf their website and buy tickets online

And as promised during the video, Portugal’s National Holidays are:
1st January – New Year’s Day
2nd April – Good Friday
4th April – Easter Sunday
25th April – Freedom Day
1st May – Labor Day
3rd June – Corpus Christi
10th June – Portugal Day
15th August – Assumption
5th October – Republic Day
1st November – All Saint’s Day
1st December – Restoration of Independence Day
8th December – Immaculate Conception
25th December – Christmas Day

Soon I will probably do a Tips & Tricks about National and main Local Holidays in Portugal and let you know how to get around some of the travel problems that may come with that. Let me know if this would be helpful, and if you have any curiosity or worry… bring it on!

Find more information at www.rede-expressos.pt… and if you need any extra help on planning your vacation and travels around Portugal, I am available so feel free to contact me!

  1. Obrigada! I am visiting Portugal in December and January looking for a place to live. I will be in Coimbra in December and will contact you about a personalized tour and consultation. Your videos are very useful and helpful in my planning. Again, thank you!
