Travelling on the Metro in Lisbon, Portugal.
It’s our second full day in Lisbon, Portugal. Today we head out to stock our larder up with supplies and later join an Irish Dance and Music rehearsal in Jazzy Dance Studios in Picoas.
We show you the extremely deep under the ground Metro station – Chiado. If you like getting on lots of consecutive elevators, then you’ll love Chiado!
You can watch how to use a Lisbon Metro ticket machine as Imo fumbles her way through the procedure with Izzy ‘on it’ as camera-girl.

I’m Imo and she’s Izzy. We love getting out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.
We’re a home-schooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy’s severe, chronic eczema and her education. Our resourcefulness is tested on a daily basis but we’d love to share our little triumphs and discoveries with you as we go along.
I will always write closed captions in UK English for my vlogs, not only to make them more accessible in general but also to create a useful resource for advanced learners of the English language who may enjoy regular bursts of pseudo-immersion in English in a narrative context with the additional benefit of corresponding on-screen text.
These videos will not generally feature background music making them extra suitable for people who aren’t keen on pop music! x

I've never been to Lisbon but watching your video now I feel like I'm a veteran Lisbon metro rider 🙂
Have you been to the church our lady of pena?
As a few have commented on the long Baixa/Ciado escalator, this connects Chiado in the Bairro Alto or High neighborhood with Baixa or downtown. The depth is 45 meters.
Wow!! Great Video!
These vids have put Lisbon on the bucket list for use now.. 🙂
Loving the advice and the awesome Lisbon trip. V glad your getting more views as well as your vids are so much fun and you do some very cool things.. LOVE the dancing!! great experience for you both. Do you type the captions or is there a magic tool for this. Great for deaf viewers.
I’m glad I was able to finish this one because you revealed the invisible boyfriend, well his shadow at least.

I watched this on my TV a couple days ago, but I've returned to say that I was amused by Invisible Boyfriend's shadow. 😂 Also, Why weren't you allowed to film in the shopping center?
Wooow that’s a long escalator, nice view tunnel.oh I saw Bingo I like to play Bingo hehe.. it’s a long walk also like here in Hongkong. Hope you have a great one 👍👍👍. Keep safe 👌
woah, you walk around with your passports? We're always scared they'll get stolen from us.
You guys are always going somewhere fun. I'm glad the rain didn't stop you. I love Izzy's kitty ears. So cute. Great video guys

I really liked it! Great video, my dear freend! Thank you for your friendship))
That place is busy with people and transportation, thank goodness for escalators!
Great travel vlog, i liked it very much! visit my ch_annel too
Hmm never know you had to carry photo id with you there. You seemed to master the travel machines very well and the metro seems the ideal way to get around and see everything, although shame that you were not allowed to film in the centre. The street art looked brilliant. Cheers Alan
#WAGGLED
How do you think it compares to the London tube service?
Vey nice place to visit my friend!! I dropped a like and full view
is it still chilly and damp there ??
I love watching you guys travel! You really appreciate every moment- even though things can be confusing. I admire how adventurous you guys are! I am always a bit overwhelmed when we visit other countries. Ah yes, the YouTuber struggle of being told you can't bring your camera into the shops :- Love how you document the metro system! You guys navigate with ease!
Awesome Lisbon!
You could use your driver's license or citizens card this way you won't lose your passport
I love Izzy's cat ears! Thank you for taking us through the Lisbon Metro. 🙂
I really want to go to to Lisbon.
Fun times
You are truly a pro. Only a Pro has a spare flute.
Hi there! That's a very busy, noisy place. So many escalator!! It also seems confusing, but you did great navigating. I'm impressed by how much you travel and that you're teaching Izzy such independence. Fancy shopping center! Sorry you got finger wagged for filming, ugh. Cute cat ears Izzy 🐱
Wow this was quite the underground adventure! The look on your face when you said it smelled like popcorn lol.
Bingo!
