You might be discouraged about striving for FIRE if you have kids and a family. However, today, I’ll share the story of Amon and Christina Browning and their 2 children from OurRichJourney. They were able to save $2,500,000 in 8 years. They did it on the salaries of civil servants and now are retired in Portugal. Their core tenets are focusing on increasing saving, earning, and investing and I share with you their Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) Journey!

Perhaps because it is longer than other Tinman FIRE personal profiles, I found this one to be the most compelling and complete. While part of that may be technical aspects of the video, the greater part for me has to do with the scope of the story. It embraces an entire family including children and discusses Issues passed over in the other FIRE testimonials such as international relocation and intergenerational transfer of the premises, aspiration and values of FIRE. It also discusses real state investment, which is probably a key factor for many FIRE Participants
