UK 'green list' revealed: Portugal, Gibraltar and Israel get the travel go ahead

he government has confirmed that Portugal, Gibraltar and Israel will be on the green travel list from next month.

Britons will be able to travel to these countries without needing to self-isolate on their return, although they will need to take a PCR test.

Non-essential overseas travel has been banned in the UK for four months to stop the spread of Covid-19.

Speaking at a press conference at Downing Street Grant Shapps said that 12 countries would be on the green list.

However, Turkey, the Maldives and Nepal will be added to red list due to surging cases.
