It's because everybody's immune system is comprised and only focused on corona leaving then vulnerable to other viruses. Herd immunity is best like they said at start.
Most of these flu cases are preventable by taken Vitamin D. During Spring, Summer, and Fall we get it from the Sun. Not in the Winter. So, immune systems are weakened. Also, take Zinc and Vitamin C.
Things to consider on the mix:
1. More than two years with kids masked. Lowering their chance to build up their immune system
2. Vaccinating small children affecting their immune-defense system
3. Before the fear-mongering of COVID, people with flue symptoms would stay home and get over it, now they freak out and run to hospital
4. It has happened every season on the past, but now we want to make it scary.
