The UK’s travel “red list” has come back into force following the emergence of the Omicron Covid variant.At the start of November any remaining countries with hotel quarantine measures in place had these restrictions removed.This changed after the new strain was initially reported by scientists in South Africa, which was swiftly added to the red list alongside five other African countries.
