The guy, Christian B, could be referring to a crime(s) that he committed that police haven't yet figured out that he was involved. He could be talking about this case specifically but it's weird that he was claiming he didn't do it like he was trying to get ppl to believe him, also now there's apparently evidence proving he was within a certain distance from where the crime occurred

I need to bring some facts about Algarve you probably don't know.

First of all, 5 years before Madeleine went missing, 2 other children disappeared in the area. One of them was found dead. It was the 8 years old girl Joana. She was kidnapped and murdered just 2 years before Madeleine was missing.
The other child is still missing. His name is Pedro and he was 10 years old when he went missing. The suspicion is this boy was kidnapped by a Pedophile Gang.
Only Portuguese and Spanish people knew about these missing children.

The other point is the language. The McCanns don't speak Portuguese, and weren't able to talk to locals and find out Algarve is a hot point for drug dealing and human traffick. So, Algarve is definitely not a place to leave kids by their own.
Algarve is the summer paradise for Nothern Europeans, and a very popular destination for family holidays.

And the last and important point is: the Resort offered the guests baby sitting services for free, and the baby sitters were able to speak many foreign languages, incluiding English.
But the McCanns judged it wasn't necessary.

This horrible incident is the parents worst nightmare! 15 years later, the McCanns still don't know what happened to their little girl!
Many mistakes were commited by Portuguese police during the investigation.
The Algarve Police Chief, Goncalo Amaral, is very famous in Portugal for his abuses comitted during the investigation of Madeleine McCann's case and the 8 years old Joana Cipriano's murder in Faro, Algarve.
And he is acusing the McCanns of murder for years, without an evidence!
Shameful!
At least, this Algarve Police Chief was sacked, prosecuted and senteced by Portuguese Justice for misconduct.

Hi Stacy thanks for the update. I remember when this happened. And I like many was outraged when I heard that Madeleine was left alone while the parents went to dinner. I didn't know until your update that the restaurant was only on the other side of the swimming pool and they were taking turns that makes a big difference. I wouldn't leave anything unlocked. When I was little my parents took me camping it was no big deal to go to another campsite after you put the kids to bed your parents would check on you throughout the night. I did the same thing when I took my daughter camping. I feel bad that I misjudged Madeleine parents this whole time. My thoughts and prayers 🙏 go out to Madeleine parents may they find peace and closure. RIP

It's like they are going back to the 1800's or early 1900's or something. Thank you for keeping her memory fresh, there are so many cases happening all the time, we do need these reminders of those whose stories are not yet finished.

I hope YouTube figures out how to give videos ratings (G, PG, R) and hope that parents pick it up on their end and use the tools the computer provides to keep their kids from inappropriate content so the rest of us can watch what we like.
