Historic farmhouse for sale in Lincoln, Maine. Enjoy the charm of a classic Maine farmhouse, while benefiting from the updates of present day. This three bedroom, two bath 1940’s farmhouse has had many updates in the past 5 years while still maintaining the charm of a historic New England home. The home sits on a 0.76± acres with a 2-car attached garage, many perennial plants, fenced in yard and large garden.
The first floor of the home features a large breezeway with new windows and doors that attaches the home to the two-car garage. The mud room/breezeway grants access to the fenced-in backyard with new deck. Stepping into the large eat-in kitchen you will notice the beautiful, exposed beam ceiling, custom cabinets, wide plank pine floors and an abundance of natural light. The formal dining room was used by the current owners as a music room, and the floor has been reinforced to accommodate the piano which will stay with the home. Off the dining/music room is the first-floor bathroom which was also renovated in the last 5 years and includes new shower, toilet, sink and laminate floors. The 13×10 living room rounds out the first floor with new laminate floors and is a cozy space to spend time relaxing with family.
The second floor of the home is accessed by two separate sets of stairs, one in the kitchen which leads to a landing for access into a small 8.25×9 bedroom, most recently used as a nursery but would make a great office space or walk-in closet, as well as the primary bedroom which is 11.75×9.5. These two bedrooms have had new windows installed in the last two years. The second set of stairs are located in the living room and they lead to the third 10.5×8 bedroom and the upstairs laundry/bathroom. The upstairs bath was completely renovated in 2021 and has a stand-up shower with glass door, new washer & dryer and added storage. Some of the other updates that have been done include a new drilled well in August 2021 and a new electric water heater.
The outside of this home is just as charming as the inside and includes a crushed stone driveway. Along the side of the home is a beautiful and very large oak tree which the current owners have previously used as a picnic area, taking advantage of the shade on hot summer days. Part of the backyard has been fenced for those furry friends to enjoy the outdoors safely. The large garden area sits outside the fence and has landscape fabric laid down to keep the weeds at bay. There are also several apple trees.

Plenty of garden.
ONLY $115,000 not Here In MICHIGAN unfortunately!! That would be about $225,000 here guaranteed!! So sad ~ I’d move if my Daughters Wasn’t in Michigan, but she comes first
I love the old Farmhomes!! The wide plank floors look original, but resurfaced! I was blessed to live in one for a few years that had been updated but was built 4 years before the Civil War!!! Was an amazing few years!
Just wanted thanks, I ended up in our fenced backyard because of you lol.
Nice place low taxes is great like to know what other expenses you have
It is just an old house. Needs a lot of work.
Ugh that farm looks like a shit hole . This comment coming from a person that's homeless .
Lovely if only I could..I can dream though
How far from a supermarket ? What type of heat ? And cable TV or satellite. Thanks….
Very nice property. The stairs though really need another railing for those of us that need two railings for safety. Love those floors!

Omg perfect can't wait to buy something like this
Hi Carmen, what kind of heating does it have?
Maybe edit out the keeping the husband outside to keep him in control. Unprofessional beyond belief.
Is Lincoln still have a working mill? We used to call it stinkin’ Lincoln. Love this farm house. Very cute!
Excellent.
It's just a house. There is no farm. What makes a "farmhouse", is more farm than house.
Beautiful house & property. This is exactly what I think of when a Maine farmhouse is mentioned. Thanks for showing this to us Carmen!
