  1. I specifically went to your channel looking for IRL house content today so please keep making things like this! I’m in the process of buying a house and I love this sort of thing

  2. I only have the base game and I HATE all of the beds! I just want a mid-price, neutral color palette, no-crazy-patterns, normal-looking bed. But I don't really know which packs/kits have that cuz there's just so many! Lol.

  3. paint the walls the darker color you want, but leave the shutters and trim white above the bed – with a smidge taller headboard, the outside view can be your art! love the house stuff, it's so fun!

  4. You should get one of those beds that raise up and down. What better way to watch tv then chill-laxing on your bed right? Also, you can look at wayfair for ideas to.

  5. I would put shelves on the wall with the bed and the small windows to sorta frame the windows a bit better. You should consider as a sort of shell challenge make your own home with windows and floors and everything and then let your followers decorate it for you. I think you could have a lot of fun watching peoples ideas.

  6. I am an architecture and engineering student and I've always loved using the Sims to get a feel of spaces and play with design and arranging solutions 🥰 i have a suggestion with the wall behind the bed that could sacrifice some space, but if we'll designed could be worth it i think. What about creating a drywall, high to pretty much the headboard of the bed of your choosing, with niches on the sides to work as additional storage/instead of nightstands? The top of it could be used as a "shelf" for decorations as a lot of people suggested or a tool to create a lightning point that smooths on the wall, with the plus of being a structure that doesn't hang out from it (safer and visually cleaner in my personal opinion).
Breaking up that wall would also give back some proportion so the windows would feel "centered" in it and not so high up 🤔 it's true some ground space would get lost, but it's an option that could work 🥰

  7. I have dark walls in my bedroom, and I think it looks great, especially if you wanna hang out in it. It makes the room feel cozier. And wat if u moved the bed to the side of the larger window, and have a desk next to it to serve as a nightstand plus a desk and then u should be able to fit a smaller painting there;) hope this helps.

  8. Can you replace the window glass? If so, then you could commission or find some cute stained glass window art for above the bed. Definitely also an option to hang a pretty curtain or tapestry over it though.

  9. Completely random but I saw an ad for Thuma bed company and it very well persuaded me into wanting one. I’m going to get one when I get money and I’ve heard good things about them I literally have it written in my notes app so I remember the brand lol

  10. I always wanted her to move out cause I thought her neighbors stressed her out based on stories she has shared. Hoping her new place brings her lots of peace and love.

I don’t know if it could fit but maybe some seating right by the windows for relaxin.

  11. Do framed wallpaper above the bed! And tbh it might be cool to have it go from the floor and be wide enough to fit the nightstands. They do that alot in fancy hotels and it always looks so full and nice!!

  12. I love love these videos! It would be so cool to have a complete playlist once the whole house is complete so we can see the full transformation! So exciting, I also definitely use the Sims to imagine how I'll set up a new space.

  13. Suggestions for over the bed: A string of fariy lights, A mirror, A shelf (for plants / photos / books) , a gallery wall of photos or prints, an Ikea build in overhead head board with with shelves that frame the bed.

  14. I love this type of video! Always always down for more IRL content.
My husband and I moved a year ago and I'm still furnishing our new "forever" house. It takes time to find the perfect pieces, and you don't want to rush it when you're dealing with big ticket items that cost thousands of dollars and that you'll likely have for years… Your struggle is totally relatable on that front. And I agree with other comments that you could try an accent wall color or wallpaper on the wall behind the headboard. Good luck and have fun decorating! 🙂
