HELLO!
I’m Nic, I roam the world with my partner Sam in our self built DIY campervan! I started van life back in 2018 and have now converted 4 adventure mobiles and lived in 3 from a Vauxhall Vivaro SWB to a Peugeot Boxer L3H2. All have been built to be off grid beasts so I can run away into the wilderness :D. I have been exploring and documenting my alternative living and travel stories here and on Instagram @nicroams, with the hope to inspire and encourage you all to grab your dreams and adventure around our beautiful world too!

  1. Nice video's. As a portuguese i can tell you that your google is translating to Portuguese from Brazil. We don't say "bom tia" we say the "d" like you say "delta". Anyway maybe you didn't know. Stay safe and keep doing amazing video's. Enjoy the pastel de nata.

  2. Really nice. Please, after much time I learned that graffities are indicative of security. It goes this way: graffitties > broken glass > bars on doors & windows > barbed wire (Braga) > electrical fences (Cabo da Roca) > vicious dogs & so on. During 68 years I believed the leftist idea that graffitties were just "street art". Braga is beautyful, but has a great brasilian community with other ideas. Continental Portugal is heavenly. Madeira is heaven, but at the moment not for families with youngsters. Cristiano Ronaldo is from Funchal in Madeira. Stay safe, greetings from Tigre in Argentina.

  3. This was bangin'.. Really enjoyed it 🤗
Your content is getting better every week! Sorry I didn't comment last night – I watched and then crashed. Was shattered.. I got a new laptop (yay!) and fried my brain editing with it and my YouTube took HOURSSSSSSS to upload. I was wiped out by the time I got to bed!!
It looks like you guys are starting to have THE best time!! Keep enjoying 🙂 Can't wait for the next episode!! xox

  4. If I can give you any advice at all which I don't normally but I've done a lot of mountain walking in Spain, always carry a stick and if you are attacked make yourself look as big as you can by raising your arms in the air and roar as loud as you can . I know through experience that this works . Stay safe , love the vlog .

  5. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures in Portugal. Such beautiful sights to see❣️ I don’t know how you went in that ice cold water, I got chills from watching. That beach is absolutely lovely.
I remember growing up in Florida and watching the Canadians come down to the beach in the middle of the winter! And yes, we did think they were crazy, while we were bundled up in our winter clothes🤣 I enjoyed watching you two having fun, I am so glad that your trip is going well, in spite of the craziness of our world today. May God continue to bless y’all and keep you in His loving care 🛐♥️🛐

  6. Great! come on 20k! Those dogs though – I love dogs but unsure "stay" would work with these. I have so got to start travelling again – thanks for the inspiration 🙂 nice music choice too!

  7. That small swimming pool in the stream, looks amazing, I don't think my 7.5m unit will fit down those small roads though so might have to give that area a miss. But Porto is definitely on our list. Looking forward to next week already. Thanks for sharing.

  8. It's obligatory not obrigada. Nice try though 🙂 also if you can go to vila nova de milfontes. The water in the algarve is much warmer. If you go to Lisbon, try the pastes de nata from Mantegaria thier amazing at the Time out Market.

  9. Nasty truth for you.
Remember we have returned to England after 20 years out there.
Our village goat herder killed all males born by hitting them on a rock and giving them to his dogs. They only need females for milk for cheese which they sell.
They do the same with wild dog puppies.
They will leave one for the Mother.
We picked up Little Ted from our Village in Spain 10 years ago……..no longer Little Ted. 50 pounds of terrier muscle.
Because he saw his Brothers and Sisters killed…..he hates humans.
He has to be muzzled and put out before the Vet will go near him.
In Spain he dug a hole under my car for his collection.
Spanish workers have bread and tinned sardines at 10 am every day.
He collected their tins and dug a hole for them.
He also found a dead fox scull and put that in there as well.
He's here now in a nice living room in Somerset with 6 bones which you cannot go near.
He's a collector. It's an odd thing. We think he's from a goat herd family and likes to keep things tidy?
    Great to see you.
    Where next?
