At a 4-way stops, the first car to arrive at the intersection receives the right of way. It doesn’t matter where the vehicle is located or what direction it is traveling, this rule will always apply

Hmmmm… The really REALLY smart thing to do is drive to Vancouver… Park the van… Take a cruise to Alaska. The drive will cost you a small $$$$$$$ return and it's a dirt road of mind numbing boredom. Take the cruise instead.

Welcome to Manitoba and Canada. I have lived in Winnipeg since the mid 1970's and am so glad you had a positive experience here. What really took my notice was your stay in Neepawa as that is where I was born and grew up. Safe travels to you both.

Coold you show the expense budget … gas food etc
Looks like the daily cost of gas is the same amount of a hotel stay.

Would it have been better flying / train / bus to major cities and staying at hostels, air bnb, etc?
The time driving looks really exhausting … I drove 66 hours in 3 weeks but just in east provinces.

I wouldn't worry about the A/C, especially with the weather being a perfect 25°. Just open the windows more while driving.

Those Honeywell fans are great. I own a few of them. I think it’s definitely your power or the circuit that is the problem, not the fans. There a lot’s of Ford dealerships across the country. Calgary is larger than Winnipeg.

In fact you may try to visit US if you close to the board and repair your van issue there. Much much chipper than in Canada.
