I don’t respect a society that doesn’t have the death penalty. It’s immoral to me to not have the courage to execute someone as an example that murdered or better yet brutally murdered and tortured a child. Because that child is not yours your too cowardly to accept the responsibility of having the death penalty? Disgusting!

I’m only seeing one angle.I wish the driver assuming survival could get the death penalty. There are many different levels of irresponsible to reckless driving.This would be equivalent to rapid firing a gun in a crowd where you were intentionally trying to miss everyone just to scare them for fun.

This was heart wrenching. They are saying the traveling nurse is remorseful. When? Where? The car shot through the cross traffic like a bullet. My heart goes out to the families affect by her misconduct behind the wheel. She didn’t try to stop, she didn’t swerve to avoid impact. Unless her breaks went out she is liable to the full extent of the law. Crazy

I can't imagine that she did that on purpose…but then…there's Anne Heche – so I don't know. Could have been a stuck accelerator….a malfunction of some kind with the transmission – I just hope she didn't do it on purpose.
