All those ferns, I call them weeds cause you can hack them down but they'll only come back and spread everywhere, I know I have them invading my backyard. Does anybody know how to stop them from taking over?

Wouldn't using a goat be a better solution? Goats eat a lot of stuff, and they also provide fertilizer.

We have the same problem each year we go back to Terceira, first thing we do is contact our contractor and our Landscaper guy and get the weeds gone and start fixing little things that need attention. You need to find yourself a local who wants to make some extra money and help you with the cleanup or it takes too much of your vacation time. ; )
