Évora is very beautiful city with long history. It could be easily considered as crown jewel of Portuguese heritage. It’s street architecture, local cuisine and monuments serve as a gateway to the Portuguese culture.
The city has it all, prehistoric megalithic structures, ruins of Roman Temple, Church of St. Francis and many others. In the 16th century Franciscan monks decided to build Chapel of Bones in the Church of St. Francis to free local overcrowded graveyards by decorating the chapel with bones.
Join me and experience this chapel that is definitely out of this world!
