In this video i’m back in my abandoned town in the center of Portugal. I go clean up the area of the house and see what artifacts i may encounter.
I’m also meeting with two other Youtube channels in this video. Cindy Vine and Molly, from Quinta Fonte da Pipa. (links below)
Hope you enjoy 🙂

En om een echt zwembad te bouwen, van beton. Kan ik je wel helpen.
Ik heb 23 jaar ervaring met beton.

Hi – you say that this is a village without neighbors – there are some of these empty houses for sale ? How much would they ask and how much land comes with it. Sorry for bordering you but could you tell me also the name of this abandoned village – so I could it see on google maps. Thank a lot for your videos (subscribed and liked) and congratulations for you pool 😎
Those tubes can be used to plant small trees keeping the rabbits away from them…
Well, comming to the issue of fire, I had that problem in the 90ties in my fathers house. When you have the disgrace of a fire, neighbours help, but no one is trained, and you have to hurry. So every 50 meters you need an 200 litre drum full of water half buried for not tipping over. Place a wood in it, so birds and little creatures will not drown. A very strong piece of cloth or a piece of an old firefighter hose is used to fight bush flames, previously wet in the nearby 200 l drum. I encourage everyone to make firefighter, first aid, self defence, and other courses.
Hi again: as a reply in a comment you said you were in contact with Theo. ¡Terrible what happened to Bee! With a lot of proyects and my "older adult" status I´ve learned that the work sometimes is too hard. I recommendended Wim Hof´s method for Bees trouble (a cold shower at the end of bathing every day keeps the physician away), but my answer was somewhere lost… But the WHM gives me real good results, it´s worth a try…..
I´m considering seriously to relocate in Portugal (thanks to my Schengen passport), I was in Lisbon with my mum in 1966, I liked it.. Portugal is a very safe place and in deep trouble with the Pope since 1915 (This trouble started with Tomar being the stronghold of the Templar Order in 1312, With Pope Clement V ). Portugal is underestimated. But it is the only allied-neutral country in West Europe. Argentina (where I married soon after the Falklands war) is a mess, and I have very little hopes, so your vids are really useful for me. My doubt is between the Coimbra and the Sintra regions. I´m a widower since 2017, and have an Argie passport due to the circumstance of being born in Argentina a few years after Gemany´s destruction in WW 2. Apart from spanish, I´m also totally fluent in german, french, etc. I learned English and spanish together between 5 an 8. I lived in Hamburg for a lot of years, but sold the house I had there after knowing I couldn´t use it myself as a non german in the eighties. May be I have some rights on a german passport, but for the moment I dont want it. Why not Spain? Spain is an axis-neutral country, like Argentina. I lived shortly in Teignmouth near Exeter in 1968, nice memories. Have a look at my Youtube channel´s pictures, but making a video every week wasn´t worth the effort in 2018.
You get me dizzy with the double camera! Very nice vid. I congratulate you for your new pool! I even din´t know that big pools. Greetings from Tigre

You need to speed some of your tidying up videos as it can get a bit monotonous, wish I had the time to come and help you move on with your projects.
Again good luck with it all
Please put trainers on or safety shoes when working on your land.👍
the bottom end to a bench.
I think the metal thing is a control arm for a vehicle /automobile.
Awesome videos…thanks for sharing!
Must have felt great going into that water! Great video, look forward to your next one.
So lovely to see you met Cindy 😁

After all that hard work, it is time for 🍻cheers
Put a spare key in a plastic box and bury it somewhere on your land in case you forget or lose the key in future.
Hey there man, nice to see another video from you ;-).
What you have found @10:28 and @18:26 are parts of an old farm plow (in portuguese is called "Arado") – you can check here: https://www.olx.pt/d/anuncio/peas-antigas-de-arados-IDGn96I.html#49825ca39c and https://www.olx.pt/d/anuncio/arado-charrua-antiga-IDFCcil.html#49825ca39c.
And the metal tube @12:16 is an old gutter discharge pipe (in portuguese gutter is called "Caleiro")
Jasper, get proper shoes for the cleaning of that wood, had an accident with nails when doing something similar, keep your feet protected. Stay safe and congratz on the work.
mais uma boa experiência social que vai avaliar óbvias diferenças culturais e de mentalidade face às adversidades regionais quotidianas… en ik wens je veel succes!
The plastic cone would have originally held wool for knitting and weaving, I use mine for protecting seedlings at night from slugs and snails. Looking forward to the shed clear out😁
Jasper use a tripod for camera as you moving the camera around , too many close looks at you face . We want to see you working. Cheers from Australia
I think you might have enough Scottish tartan to make a small kilt 😮

Hi! I like you better without the picture in picture. I can only watch this on my phone n when you use the small picture it's harder to see you.
Yes, dual screen recording your video vlog is better and different with other youtuber per said. 👍
When you picked the old boot up I swear I saw a snake hanging out the bottom of it. Go back and look at your video tell me if I'm wrong. Also here's two more couples in Portugal their channels are called Eco and Beyond, The Indie Projects he actually posted a very stressful video yesterday his wife is struggling with about of depression maybe they could use an upbeat friend like you.💜
